Dawn the Eve

New Years Eve breaks a grey dawn on accomplishments past in a year of change, no tears to shed on the afterbirth of growing pains leaving no stains of regret to begin again....or not. Achievements and bereivments a circle unbroken kicked up a notch on the school of hard knocks, learning never felt so good. I see my light today like a beacon in a clouded rush of restless desire. I want that one, yeah, with the gold inlay and diamond studded steering wheel accelerating down a glory road to "they like me" , "they really really like me" accolades of ego satisfaction. This year I did my best to pass the test of loving kindness to those sleeping on streets of lost fame, no flame to change the game, silent night wholey concluded in a soft sigh of despair. Mirror Mirror tells me get up now and take a bow from the mezzanine of miracles created in a shifting instant, I see a new horizon taking one small step for me on this eve of orbital completion. I set the course to remember my source created creation, I got God's mic plugged in the line to live sublime this 2009.

Psychic Holiday

Kay called yesterday, my psychic to fame and fortune guidin' me through life's tenuous path of ups and downs, smiles and frowns, send in the clowns, my parades started and I got my place reserved and my lines to serve. 'Course, script has a surprise ending which even Kay don't know, that'd spoil all the fun and the audience thrill as I overcome death's final frontier and ride into the sunset on Michael's angel'd chariot to the stars, Jimi Hendrix singin' Castles Made of Sand in enternity. Kay said it's breakout time for me. Time for my golden ship to sail the sea of success and happiness, to throw off my fear cloak and shine bright. I dreamed of discount fares to paradise and saw my spirit swimmin' in crystal clear lagoons and white sand brilliant truths. No more dark isolation and stormy times. Peace reigned supreme and the huddled masses heard a song of sweet mist washing away blue sufferin' hoverin' above humanities clouded fire. My grandma's watchin me Kay said. Like a lovin' spirit protector purchased for extended warranty against lifes damages and roadside emergencies. It's a comfort to know Gramma watchs down from above, assistin' my frightened dove of a child sometimes searchin' just hopin' to do it all right. Keep it light Kay said, and have fun in the sun of possibility. I pray for the key to see and in the moment be a holy extension of my Father's business Savin' Souls Inc. Keep the contract ink flowin', business of life with no strife be my mission as I ignition and lift off, this course of mortal soul savin' assignment.

O Holy Night

O Holy Night, to live and die while Christ is born again without sin in our global warmed world, artic ice melting gently in Atlantic apathy. I saw an Angel last night at Riteaid unafraid of the mass consumption of dreams to cheap to realize, clutching a value discount to eternal bliss. Do I miss the mark or embark on a new journey to heavens gate, keeping my pin number confidential to all except St Peter who sees me on the list and grants access to the glorious multitudes of light workers on overtime saving souls for minimum wage miracles? Holy sage, thy will be done for this prodigal son seeking guidance to a ground zero realized heart. Expressions come and go, comet lights my wiseman path in search of a holy mangered savior strapped in an RV golden rocket, new Sun God to the stars. Is it sanity I crave or peace and acceptance as I save a simple light in this Holy Night of redemption? I hear the Angels sing to belong again rising high on the charts of humbleness to this I kiss the earth in faith I might to dream again.

7-11 Red

Cats can't talk but I bet they'd have a lot to say
On this rainy day filled with Holiday cheer
With Christmas lights on barred windows
In Mar Vista USA (next to Venice by the sea of insanity).
Everyone loves flashing reindeer
On a low income roof as gunshots cap
Another life at the corner 7-11.
Life's cheap for the price of a coke
And the fluff and fold next door tumbles fine delicates
To a soft downey scream,
While blood stains the asphalt a Xmas cherry red.
Red like the bow I wrapped my cousins plastic UZI in.
Hope he likes it.
Barrell lights up when you pull the trigger
Fightin' imaginary armies of corporate greed.
A seed placed gently in Maria's immaculate ghetto garden
Rises in the shadowed housing of welfared celebration.
I'm alive and free today and with gratitude
and an attitude of don't-tread-on-me resurrection
I pray for a new beginning in Buddha lit '09.

Christmas Hits

Last night I seen God in Hollywood havin' some nachos and cheese at the Arclight Dome watchin' a special screenin' of Armagedon IV. You know the one where A-Team Chris Christ, Buddha Bud, and Matt Mohamed save mankind from eternal darkness of ticker tape floods and hybrid mediocrity. Grossed a wad of dough openin' weekend and God had a cameo as the ocean light guidin' our heroes to their eternal destiny. I give it a 4 on a 5 scale of creative infinity. And God copped a smile at audience applause while the credits rolled to the big bang score of heavens chorale singin' Alleluha free at last , thank God Almighty, royal check to cash. As he exited on golden stairway , our savior said, "Nachos never tasted so God damned good".
